For Chefs
Find jobs, apply with Credits, get selected. Credits only used when selected. Everything you need as a chef on ChefMatch.
How chefs find jobs
Once your profile is set up, you can browse live jobs on the platform. Jobs are shown by area, date, role type, and other filters so you can find shifts that suit you. You do not need to apply to everything; choose the jobs you want and apply with a short message (or one-click apply). There are no agencies in between—you work directly with the platform and the venue.
Why restaurant details are hidden before selection
To protect your privacy and reduce unsolicited contact, we do not show the full restaurant or business name, address, or contact details until they have selected you. You will see enough to decide whether to apply (e.g. area, date, role, rate). Once a business accepts your application, you receive the full job details and can then accept or decline.
Applying for jobs with Credits
Click apply on any job you want. Jobs cost Credits based on duration (1 day = 1 Credit, 3 days = 3 Credits). Credits are reserved when you apply and only spent when a restaurant selects you. If you are not selected, reserved Credits are released. You can add an optional message to introduce yourself. The business will see your profile and message and can accept or decline. You can apply for as many jobs as you like; there is no obligation to accept every offer.
What happens when you're selected
When a restaurant or business accepts your application, you get a notification and the full job details: venue name, address, contact, and any other information you need. You can then accept or decline the shift. If you accept, the booking is confirmed and you can use the platform to message the business if needed.
Messaging rules
Once you are selected and have accepted, you can message the business through the platform about the shift (e.g. arrival time, dress code, equipment). Keep messages professional and relevant to the booking. Do not use the platform for spam, harassment, or to arrange work or payments outside ChefMatch. Misuse can result in account suspension.
Payment for work
ChefMatch does not employ chefs or handle wages. Payment for work is between you and the restaurant. You are responsible for agreeing terms and for your own tax and legal obligations.
Earning free Credits
Refer chefs and restaurants to ChefMatch. When 5 referred chefs become active (complete profile and apply or buy Credits), you earn 1 free Credit. When 2 referred restaurants become active (create profile and post a job), you earn 1 free Credit. See the referral section in your account.
Beta note
ChefMatch is currently in beta. During this period, some features may be free or discounted. We will tell you clearly before any changes to Credits, pricing, or subscriptions.
