How ChefMatch Works
Two simple flows: one for restaurants, one for chefs. Get from sign-up to confirmed shift in minutes.
For Restaurants & Businesses
Flexible, fast, and reliable. Fill shifts without the hassle of agencies. No Credits needed.
1. Create a business account
Sign up with your business details. You can post jobs as soon as your account is set up.
2. Post a job
Add the role, dates, location (area only for chef privacy), and how many chefs you need. Single or multiple chefs per shift.
3. Review applications
Chefs apply using their Credits. Review profiles and experience, then choose who fits best.
4. Select chefs
Accept the chefs you want. They receive full job details and can confirm. You see who is confirmed before the shift.
5. Chefs complete the shift
On the day, your chefs show up. You run the shift as you normally would. Payment for work is between you and the chef.
6. Duplicate for repeat shifts
Need the same shift again? Use Duplicate Job to copy it to tomorrow, next week, or any date. Fresh applications each time.
7. Ratings and reviews
After the shift, leave a rating and review. It helps other businesses and helps chefs build their reputation.
Restaurants do not use Credits. Chefs apply to your jobs using their Credits. Payment for work is between you and the chef.
For Chefs
You stay in control. Browse jobs, apply with Credits, get selected by restaurants. Credits only used when you are chosen.
1. Create your chef profile
Sign up as a chef. Add your name, skills, and basic info so restaurants can see who they are hiring.
2. Get Credits
Buy Credits or earn them free by referring chefs and restaurants. 1 Credit per day of job—e.g. a 3-day shift costs 3 Credits.
3. Browse jobs anonymously
See shifts by area, date, and role. Your identity stays private until a restaurant selects you.
4. Apply for jobs
Apply with an optional message. Credits are reserved when you apply. They are only spent if the restaurant selects you.
5. Get selected
When a restaurant accepts you, you get full job details including location and contact. Accept or decline from there. If you are not selected, reserved Credits are released.
6. Work the shift
Turn up, do the shift. Payment for work is between you and the restaurant. ChefMatch does not employ chefs or handle wages.
7. Build your reputation
After the shift, restaurants can leave a rating and review. Good feedback helps you win more work. Earn free Credits by inviting chefs and restaurants.
