For Restaurants
Create your business profile, post jobs, review applications, select chefs, and duplicate jobs for repeat shifts. No Credits needed. Everything you need as a restaurant on ChefMatch.
Creating a business profile
Sign up as a business and complete your profile with your company name, contact details, and any verification we ask for (e.g. company or VAT details). A complete profile helps chefs trust your listings and may be required before you can post jobs or make payments. Keep your details up to date.
Posting a job (including multiple chefs per job)
When you need cover, post a job with the role, dates, location (we show area-level detail to chefs until they are selected), rate, and how many chefs you need. You can request one chef or several for the same job—useful for events, busy periods, or covering multiple stations. Once the job is live, chefs can apply and you will see their applications in your dashboard.
Reviewing applications
Applications appear in your account as chefs apply. You can see their profile, experience, and any message they sent. Review and decide who you want to hire. You can accept one or several applicants per job (e.g. if you need multiple chefs). Once you accept someone, they receive the full job details and can confirm or decline.
Selecting chefs & bulk accept
Accept the chefs you want from the applications list. Where the platform supports it, you can accept multiple chefs in one go (bulk accept) for the same job. After you accept, the chef sees the full details and can confirm. Until they confirm, the slot may still be open for you to accept someone else if needed.
You can remove a chef from a booking in certain situations (e.g. before the shift, or if they have not confirmed). Once a shift has been completed, removal may not be possible for that booking; any disputes should be raised with support. Do not remove chefs solely to avoid payment after they have done the work; that breaches our terms.
Duplicate jobs for repeat shifts
Need the same shift again? Use Duplicate Job to copy an existing job to tomorrow, next week, or any date. It saves time for repeat or recurring cover. Applications do not carry over—each duplicated job gets fresh applications. Review and publish when ready.
Payment for work
ChefMatch does not employ chefs or handle wages. Payment for work is between you and the chef. Restaurants do not use or pay for Credits. Chefs apply to your jobs using their Credits; you post, review, and hire directly.
